(This post was originally written in December 2016 but I forgot to post it)
It’s been a minute since I have had time to sit down and get a blog post written but WOW has a lot happened! Most of my time has been going into school: attending, studying, and practicing. I’ve also been busy trying to sort out my job situation…my coffee shop job wasn’t as school friendly as I’d hoped (for what I needed, at least) so I’ve been doing applications and interviews to line something new up for me.
I’ve been really wrapped up in trying to find balance in my work/school schedule and with the past couple of weeks off I’ve been able to stop, spend some time on myself, and reflect on how I can get through the rest of my school year without having emotional breakdowns several times a week (I’ve been STRESSED, guys).Read More »
Although I have quite a bit of time to plan my wedding (a little less than two years to get it all together) it’s never to early to starting pinning anything and everything on Pinterest! I don’t want to reveal any official plans yet since my fiance and I still have a lot of planning to do but I figure it wouldn’t hurt to share some images I feel inspired by on my secret bridal Pinterest board as a little Valentine’s Day treat.

I’ve been growing out my hair for SIX MONTHS now and I’m finally coming out of the awkward over-grown pixie cut mullet-y phase. A couple of weeks ago I had a handful of my classmates cut my hair and take some of the weight out of the back and it looks and feels SO much better! Props to anyone out there with the strength to grow out a pixie cut because it’s a long and grueling process.
So! Now that my hair looks like an actual hair cut again I’m sure you’re dying to know what my hair plan is for the rest of the year. My plan is to continue taking Hair, Skin and Nails supplements, NOT dyeing or bleaching my hair, and getting it trimmed 1/2 – 1 inch every three months or so.Read More »
Over the past six months or so I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about my online presence and how that will affect my life in the future. Especially now that I’m working on skills to start a career I’ve had to clean up my online accounts. It’s easy to lock my personal accounts and make public professional ones but where does my blog go?
I’ve considered many ways to go about controlling my blog. I don’t want potential employers to check out my blog before they know me (or ever) because I want control of how my coworkers and bosses see me.
