Over the past couple of months I’ve started my journey to better fitness and a healthier lifestyle. I know I’ve attempted this path multiple times and failed, but this time I’ve work out a method that works for me. If you are in a similar position as I am here are a few things you should keep in mind when you start your own fitness journey.

It takes time to build up muscle before you start to lose weight
Adjusting your eating habits doesn’t mean you’re dieting
Finding an exercise routine that works for you and your schedule takes time
If you feel like giving up adjust your methods so that they work better for you
The only person who can keep yourself on track is you
Getting fit is a process that I’ve always found difficult but this time around I’m actually starting to see some progress. Not just in a slimming down way, but in a healthy way, too. I get plenty of sleep, I’m energized and in a much better mood/state these days. Even if I stayed the same physically, the hard work I’ve been doing would still be worth it because I feel great! I’m proud of myself for treating my body better by exercising and eating well and I’m looking forward to seeing some results down the road!
