Well, look at that! It’s September! That can only mean one thing: School’s out!

For most people in my little town school is back in session, but since I’m taking some time off I’m out of class and I’m quite thankful for it. Between the financial cost, the stress, and my general apathy about the entire situation I figured it would be best if I took some time to collect myself as a person before I ran off blowing tens of thousands of dollars I don’t even have on a degree.
After spending the last fourteen years of my life in school I’m finally hit with the ultimate question: what does one do without school to deal with?
To start, I’m working on the job situation. Do I know what I want to do? Kind of, but for now I’m focusing on paying my bills and getting on my feet financially. It’s never as easy as it sounds, though. I’ve been out of work for a month now and the stress has been weighing down everything in my life. Notice how quiet Loitering Lion has been? My silence has been pretty universal on all of my online accounts because I’ve been trying to handle the basics in my life like being able to afford groceries.
I love Loitering Lion and it kills me that I’ve been so neglectful, but sometimes I have to take a step back and focus on not completely losing my mind over the whole unemployment bit.
Whatever! I can stress out about life AND blog at the same time! Loitering Lion has always helped me through rough times so why wouldn’t it work this time? It’s time for me to get creative again!
