On Monday I spent ten and a half dollars to see Justin Bieber: Never Say Never in 3D. It was a documentary/concert movie mix that was tied together by the countdown to Bieber’s performance at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The movie didn’t impress me very much, and I think it may be because I don’t particularly care about Bieber. What he accomplished is amazing and the film did a decent job of conveying it’s moral, but there is way too much hype over this kid.
I predicted this movie would be a scam, and I’m still feeling like it is. It cost too much, the 3D wasn’t very impressive, and the day after I saw it the “extended version” was released. Somebody over in Hollywood had this scheme prepared for months. The least they could’ve done was not be so downright obvious about ripping us off.
